i like fridays... means weekend comin n can relax abit... rather uneventful day... by comparison, thrusday was a bit more fun... went for prize presentation ceremony for our banner comp... we got 3rd place... meaning cant represent wilayah nor get d RM1000 cash prize promised by a very generous VIP... but well... wat to do huh? good oso... tak larat wanna draw another banner... tho it is quite fun actually...

dis epicurean missy has nuthin much to say bout d breakfast... lumpy beehoon... need i say more? *bluek* however, with d arrival of some bigshots, lunch was a much better affair... nasi briyani i think... but with coloured grains... leftover grains from kollams perhaps... watever it is, it tasted reli good... at least to me lah... jee ween was repulsed by d colourful rice, which i think is actually kinda cutesy... d chicken wuz quite good too.. a satisfying lunch and d first time i finished all d food they gave me in this skoo!!! *applause* wuz feeling bad for throwing away lumpy fried rice and soggy beehoon so strived to finish dis box of food... and i succeeded! *bangga* if u don't count d packet of dhal and d chicken skin n bones...

i think they set a new record... for the longest speech ever... d closing speech is about 20 mins long i guess.... bored me to sleep reli... which is a waste cuz i think d VI'P's voice is quite good... don't dis pple know effective speechmaking? short n concise ler...! so long who wanna hear wor...

anyways smk vivekanda look a lil' rundown-ish... but have quite canggih halls hehe damn impressive hall ler wei...juxtaposition of old classrooms n new, cool halls... bla bla bla do not wish to elaborate... malas... people there r weird... u c teachers chasing naughty boys, naughty boys pulling girls hair n students whacking each other hahaha... wat a fun-filled environment....

anyways wuz impressed by d victorians... memang bersungguh-sungguh... for d career pameran... they made a model of d human blood system... with blood (syrup) and urine (orange juice i suppose)... their file about orthopedics wuz impressive n informative.. got 1st prize wei... congrats u guys! rather in awe... maybe i'm juz used to d d crappy folios we do at skoo... aihz...

lucky we rushed back in skoo for d photo taking session! don't wanna miss it cuz it's my last year ( '-') but dunno y we took almost an hour to take d pic... tiring...

bio add class wuz a tiring affair... extremely drowsy and probably slept... major lack of sleep... din sleep d day before rushing to finish seni file... finally berjaya!! speaking of achievements, i achieved my personal goal of eating all 3 flavours of trophy ice-cream in a day! *grins* congrats to myself...! altho i do feel a little fat... *shrugs*

watched disney pixar's Cars today... have to say it is quite a nice movie... really imaginative, and funny!! everyone muz watch it lah~ it is soooo cute... the world of Cars is populated by well, cars... even d lalats r miniature cars with teeny lil wings!! so cute!!! *squeals* >.<

as with all disney movies, there is d prerequisite moral of d story... it's like d journey is more important than winning d race... integrity, caring about others, stop and smell d roses, etc etc etc other than making u laugh, dis makes u stop and ponder about ur life abit... and d short animation feature before the movie was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo funny n adorable... had me in stitches hahaha d short clip at d end credit wuz also amusing, with pixar poking fun at themselves for reusing voice talents haha they reli do have a sense of humour, don't they?

MNG is having sale.. dirt cheap... unfortunately me n ade are BROKE! *sob sob* next time then...

gosh i'm sooo tired... it's amazing that even drawing banners can make u feel as if u've ran 20 km... my whole body was aching.. especially my poor back... *sob sob* anyone want to sponsor me to go for massage....?

anyways guess we never learn from our mistakes... despite d fiasco before our last banner comp, this morning we were rushing to look for paints again... this time it wuz worse.. francis n suba were not notified (my bad.. T-T) and jee ween forgot to bring our bundle of paint brushes...

but nvm... all was well and we arrived at smk vivekananda safely, albeit a teensy late, for the wilayah banner drawing comp... I wuz still a lil drowsy from lack of sleep n d balmy weather didn't help matters... wuz feelin sooo sleepy...

unlike last time when we cud use tables as base, this time, we were to draw our banners on the floor... we were at some kinda open air dewan thingey... it juz rained... aih... so shue fook... feel like sleepin...

after 3 and a half hours...
Banner almost done... yet still lot's of touch-up to do... but my whole body was aching and i din have d mood nor strenght to continue... but still have to do it rite? reli tak larat.. aihz... some more very hungry edi... adding salt to d wound... our marker pens started to show symptoms that their ink is going bye-bye...

half an hour later....
finally... time's up... still got a teeny weeny bit not completed... but feeling quite glad... but some groups din finish at all... so feeling quite grateful... one of them wuz reli nice... unfortunately only half done...
cleaning up wuz d most san foo... everyone of us turned into cinderella... *sniff* have to scrub d floor... still d paint were very persistent and there were still blotches of red, yellow, blue etc on d floor.... my hand very pain ar!!!! jee ween's hands were numb and shivering... haih d sacrifices we make in the name of art...

speaking of sacrifices.... all our clothes n fingers n palms were smothered with paint.... this time a lot of 'accidents' ler... my whole baju kurung cannot help edi... can only become kenangan... mayb one day i'll frame up my paint-splashed baju kurung as a memento haha then there wuz a big blue blob of paint on my baju... near d pocket there.... which later became a joke when i got back to skoo... "d blue period"-_-" aih aih aih....

anyways i find washing my hands very tedious... so much paint!!! can't understand y francis is soo clean... tempted to splash him with paint haha *evil grin* juz kiddin... i'm such a caring jie jie... won't think of doing such a despicable act to my juniors... hahahaha *perasan* anyway poor francis had to carry d huge box of paints again lol... not light ler... one tub of paint is 1 kg... i think we got about more than 10 tubs... so cham... *shakes head*

it muz be... at every one of these comps they give u crappy food... jee ween got ai xin breakfast... blueberry cheese tart brought from home, but all we got wuz lumpy nasi goreng in a weird shade of red n a teeny piece of fried dummets... francis even bit into his drummet thinking it wuz pisang goreng... -_-" this muz be some intricate ploy to give participants food so yucky tat they have to buy food from d canteen... evil!!! anyways brought fried chicken from d canteen to starve off my hunger... d chicken wuz quite okay... tender n flavourful... big diff from d food they gave us... n so unlike d chicken at smk teknik which wuz tough n rubbery haha

bumped into kien loon, kervin et al there... apparently they were there for d presentation comp... good luck~ kien loon got new hairstyle... haha quite retro-ish...

went back to skoo, and since there wuz nuthin to do... play around taking pics of everyone... got pbsm meeting but i wuzn't contributing a lot... aihz i'm a useless piece of wood... anyways had fun with ann ^-^ taking silly pics...

tumpang roxanne's car home afther that... thank q roxanne!! ^-^ anyways feeling quite happy dis few days... i like rainy weather... makes me feel very calm... so very shue fook inside roxanne's car juz now haha...

ytd oso very happy... long time din take d bus home... so decided to do so with kai li... sitting in d bus makes me notice things... usually when i'm in d car i'll talk to pple or sleep... in buses i like to gaze at d surroundings n juz observe things... noticed that d car dealership beside d highway have been closed down.... muz have happened quite some time... can't believe i din notice it...

had a nice chat with kai li in d bus ^-^ unfortunately for her... she missed d chance to be in d same bus with a 'guy' haha nvm ler.. some things are juz meant to be... mebe d time is not right yet leh....

i'm starting to bliv in horoscope... ytd my horos said i wud b spending money on food tat i've been craving... n it wuz true... ate my fav mochi... d mochi auntie gave me extra cuz long time din buy from her edi... tq auntie!! act wanted mummy to come fetch me geh... in d end walked home by myself... 1st can gam fei... 2nd i like d solitude... it wuz a balmy afternoon... perfect for a stroll and to let myself think about things...

anyways most of d exam papers have been returned to us... still haven got back seni... not terribly pleased with my results... and my appaling english grades juz upsets me... haih... shall not think of these sad stuff anymore... muz look to d future... wang qian kan!! jia you!!!

yay! ^-^ finally finish reading anne frank: the diary of a young girl... but it's rather bittersweet... i'm a lil upset when i've finished it cuz i feel like i want to read more.. always happens with great books or d occasional great tv series... i'm anxious to noe d ending but when it comes i feel upset it finished so soon... anne frank: the diary of a young girl (tDoaYG) is probably the novel tat took me d longest time to read... Contrary to my usual practice of reading a novel at one shot (i'm impatient), tDoaYG took me an unprecedented long time of about a month... it wuz honestly quite painful for me to read it... reli symphatized with her plight and sometimes i felt i'm a little like her... It made me realise d pain of war and its devastating effects... and i had to stop reading at times becuz i wuz a lil overwhelmed. Despite her life of suffering and privation (i mean imagine living in a confined space, hiding and afraid of being discovered, while d rest of ur kind gets gassed or massacred) she still hangs on to live, full of hope and it reli inspred me.... *sniff*

anyways on to another topic...

ate pancakes n avocados for breakfast... weird combi if u ask me but anyways couldn't reli taste them due to my scorched tastebuds... ere's d story how i scalded my tounge....

saw dis hot, steaming cup of hot cocoa on d table... it wuz too chocolatey and creamy tat i threw all my common sense out of my brains and juz drank it... unfortunately it wuz burning hot and *taadaa...* a scalded and a very painful tounge! which is reli unfortunate for me becuz i couldn't reli taste all those wonderful goodies at d choccie buffet ytd nite......

oh man... it wuz like chocolate heaven... all those different kind of chocolates!!! *jumping up n down excitedly* pralines, bon-bons, all sorts of choco cakes, choc cookies and *gasp!* d chocolate fountain!! and i especially liked d fried choco balls... looking so cute n tasting hmmm... so heavenly!!! i'll go on and on gushing about how nice those chocolates were but that'll only make me hungry so i'll stop lah...

we had great fun snapping photos n since dis outing to cosmo lounge is sorta an early bday celebration for x. chiann, we had d singer sang her a bday song... well d crooner was friendly n very obliging, even walking to our corner and sat beside chiann... *swoons* seriously his voice is good and he has a wide repertoire of songs... from oldies to maroon5's songs....

unlike some pple who are all hoity-toity when they go to restaurants, i am 'proud' to say, we are quite 38 hahha... running around and snapping pictures.... me n pin even tried to get a photo while we were coming down d escalator haha memorable man... n pin ate a tiny piece of d chocolate sculpture on display haha ^-^

anyways me n reen were d last to leave... yi yi bu she... so we sneaked into Lé Meridien, which is just adjacent to Hilton KL... oh my gosh!!! the centrepiece wuz juz so cute!!! it wuz some kinda cascading chandelier thingey above d fountain.... and they had Louis Ghost armchairs by Philippe Starck!!! ubër cute!!!

ytd wuz also our skoo's cross country... at first very semangat... unfortunately... fainting spells returned... seriously i'm a vampire... can't go under d sun.... i shud reli bleach my face to get a pasty complexion, then plus my long hair i cud become a she-vampire muahaha... anyways dun nid lah... got pple say i look like ju-on...

i had a "spectacular" *coff coff* embarrassing *coff* finish... pitam as usual... sigh... anyways i have to thank my lucky stars for a great fren like chiann, temaning me n supporting me during d course of d cross country.... din desert me... *sniff sniff* gan dong!!! tq also to sharon *muacks muacks* and wai kheng! *sniff* so touched!

~my horoscope reading for today ^-^

despite telling myself not to believe baloney like horoscopes n zodiac readings, i juz cant help myself from giving them a quick glance everytime i come across them in the papers or mags. anyways today's horoscope prediction is actually kinda true... so much for it being hogwash... maybe it's juz a lucky coincidence? who noes huh?

anyways i woke up dis morning reluctantly, still groggy from ytd's late bedtime. Wuz supposed to go early to skoo for banner comp but due to some 'technical problems' (mom woke up late) i wuz a wee bit late... then i realised i forgot to bring my borang kebenaran... proving murphy's law is true, me n jee ween realised we forgot to take d paints from bilik seni... fancy tat... forgetting d main "íngredient'' for our masterpiece...

a bus ride and a whole box full of paints later, we were in SMK Teknik KL's drawing room, together with francis and subashini starting work on our banner. rather sleepy initially, but after getting started wuz quite jing shen edi... (proving my horo prediction is rite! ^-^) we drew n painted... while we were busy painting d bckground... others were meticulously painting their wordings... oh the care they gave to those letters... it wuz like putting on make-up for the queen... oh their speed... snails could have gone faster... they were taking their own sweet time, to dire consequences of cuz...

after 4 hours of drawing, painting (using brush n fingers too.. sumone said my 'technique' wuz special *hehe*), re-painting and touch-ups, not to mention intense stress, plus incessant peeping at other skoo's banners, we finally completed our piece de resistánce. A quick glance around our room revealed that most of them have not finished their banners, and sorry to say some are juz feeble attempts with a striking motto in d centre and huge swathes of white all around... perhaps they have great ideas but due to time constraints or lack of proper time management they coudn't show off their hidden talents... well, what can i say... everyone shud emulate us efficient sabians... delegating tasks n doing proper planning haha *perasan*

after giving a short presentation about our banner, in which i put my crapping skills to good use, all four of us dragged our tired bodies to d canteen. Francis had to carry a huge box of paints... poor kid... anyways, by tat time, everyone of us wuz dressed in most fashionable clothes... colourful uniforms... d front part of my baju kurung wuz covered in tompoks of paints... hey mayb i cud start a new craze...

mediocre food as usual... chicken was as tough as leather... poor ayam... sacrificed his life only to be made into un-yummy food... R.I.P. chicken... as it is my 1st time in SMK Teknik, i juz had to try some of their canteen food. D currypuffs were okay n they have dis weird kuih... some kinda custard-filled crépe... which tasted well, weird... speaking of weirdly textured stuff... our pot of white paint had partially harden... d bottom part coagulated while d top part wuz still watery... when u mix it, it looks like vomit... probably milk n bread... it wuz to be our joke for the day and a useful tool to help me starve off my hunger during d banner-drawing process.

as usual, VIPs are soooo important they have to arrive fashionably late.. so sien... have to wait so long for prize giving ceremony to start.... sat there stupidly doing nuthin... they have a nice hall tho... unlike SAB's oven-hall... decided to reward myself with my fav trophy ice-cream ^-^ *grins*

passed d time having a pleasurable chat with angeline and soon it was time for prize giving... Not being 100% percent pleased wit our banner, yet harbouring d hope of winning... i wuz super gan cheong... seems like jee ween wuz more gan cheong ler... when they announced the 3rd place it was not us and i got a bit more nervous... all our effort... my colourful baju kurung... our colourful hands... argh... the suspense!!!!!

and d second place goes to...

US!!!

haha jee ween let out an elated lil shriek... and we proudly went up to claim our bounty... quite a lot of prizes actually... a dai fong skoo... they had cute prizes too... snoopy and teddy bears... unfortunately we din get tat lah... we got ourselves some moh-nay, hamper, a present, a cute plastic trophy, a queer smart-skoo bag n d pre-requisite sijil... With d win, we can now represent our zon in d wilayah comp... =)

As usual... pak cik d bus driver wuz late as usual... still haven forgive him for being 3 hours late tat day after pbsm camp... *seething with rage*

reached skoo at bout 4.15... lucky pin's still at kawad.... so me n jee ween tumpang-ed her car... found out from pin bout my dismal physics results *sob sob* cant bliv cik hasnida so bad... potong one mark if we use liquid paper...

discounting d appaling exams grades, i'm quite happy wit today... only my 2nd time rep skoo for art comp, n like my 1st time.... came back with hasil... *bangga* haha maybe i'm picasso in d making.... hahahaha i can't believe i'm so perasan.... mayb juz beginner's luck =D

dunno y i decided to continue blogging... perhaps it is an inherent need to express my thoughts? or juz d perasaness that pple will want to noe about my life? haha watever it is... suddenly felt d urge to blog so blah blah blah i'll go......

kesimpulannya, a rewarding day ^-^ 2nd prize n d start of my new blog... not to mention pontenging a tedious skoo day... missed everyone tho...

oops... piles and piles of homework beckoning me... piled as high as mt everest... seems unsurmountable to lazy lil' me... haih... guess i'll juz go to bed...... nitey-nitez
