cold foods XD

today is my first time to the fabled Wisma Central. Despite hearing about it from my ex colleagues at Intec, i have yet to eat there. Wisma Central seems to be the destination of choice for those eager to escape the exorbitant food price in KLCC so at noon, many will flock there for a cheap lunch.

Anne brought me there today... we decided to eat zhap funn... din look very appetising... so i simply scoop up some veges n meats n tau foo and it came to a grand total of rm4.50.. dun reli think it is cheap leh... anyways big disappointment when i took my first spoonful. yuck... i reli dislike cold food! i mean i like foods that are supposed to be cold like ice-cream or gelatos or sushi but i dun like food that are supposed to be hot but have gone cold... it tastes so weird! So i quickly gulped down my cold lunch without really tasting anything. i wus planning to eat at kim gary's today... wat a disappointment...

But every grey cloud has a silver lining! =D cuz i found a shop that i have been looking for for a long long time. I finally found the tu pao zi shop!!! hehe it's a cute little shop that sell baos.. like Baoz but not so commercialized, mebbe? anyways got myself this reli nice green tea red bean bao! thumbs up!!! it looks really cute too.. cuz it is shaped like a leaf lolx XD

anyways i found out i have been like, bullied? maybe? cuz i found today that i'm the only one in the entire restaurant given a 30 mins break. Everyone gets 45 mins! dunno ler... so sad... lotsa captains give me conflicting instructions... and those servers (who are same pangkat as me) are instructing me to do their dirty jobs... like doing the cutleries (which i secretly really really enjoy doing) or wash the table cloth (total yuck! lucky i only did it once) or do the buzzing (more on that in another post)... anyway this server thingey is taking a toll on my health.. cuz i'm allergic to smoke and being in a smoke-filled environment just makes me cough like mad... now my lungs/throat hurt... plus i have been told (maybe wrongly on purpose?) that part-timers dun get tips... but lyn gets tips too... anyways after days without getting my share of tips... they finally gave me some today... 7 bucks! not bad ler... hehe

anyways the food in my restaurant is really good! Everyone should go and eat there!!! and they have this peach martini... which i think is reli delightful ^^

speaking of my restaurant's food... today some computer learning or whatever association held a function over here. So there was buffet... After the event was over, there were plenty of leftovers so we were allowed to eat it ^^ according to some who secretly ate some of the food while the event was still going on, the food is really really great... unfortunately when it was time for me to eat... the food has already gone cold... so i din quite enjoyed it... plus i was eating strepsils to ease my throat so the taste was somewhat distorted. Anyhow, the foods probably tasted nice when it was hot... but the profiteroles and the mini cupcakes are just uber cute!!! i wished i could have taken a photo of them... the profiteroles were so cute... all their little round bodies cramped into a plate!!! and the mini cupcakes... so cute! all diff types!!! cuteness! anyway Daniel sneaked a profiterole and mini cupcake to me when i wuz doing the cutlery so lucky me! i got to eat them... cuz the cupcakes were gone by d time the event was over... i saw this ang moh filling his plate with about 10 of those minis... so probably that's why kakaka


anyway the moral of the story is come at eat at chinoz on the park! (in klcc not the bangsar one! but the bangsar outlet is where all our pastry and cakes (the cute minis) come from XD i think i'll go soon! hehe)
