can't believe the Coffee Bean and Tea leaf is gone. now they only have a kiosk in KLCC... but anyhow i showed my support by buying a Ice Blended Green Tea (it tastes real good, in case u're wondering.) They oso had a closing down sale sellin products like tumblers durin the last 3 days (1-3 june) and i was sooooooooo tempted to buy... it's like 30% off!!! but i didn't! cuz i dun need it. See, such matured thoughts! Thank goodness now i am a reformed shopaholic and very rational and matured (not to mention cute, adorable, pretty, kind and sweet.. okay got nothing to do with it but that's besides the point)
so anyways passed by it (or what is left of it) today... feels so empty... it is gonna be replaced by some audio equipment shop i guess.. those selling Bose stuffs...
not so happy in chinoz today due to my looming resignation from my favourite restaurant. skoo's startin soon!!! so happy and excited. pray my fashion sense dun turn all jinjang-ish...
i will seriously miss chinoz!!! anyways found out today why some of our regular patrons look SO familiar! cuz they are from the MPO! i always see them in tux and formal wear but in chinoz they're all in chill out gear and slurpin bears or puffing on ciggies. such a big diff!
anyways i shall not get to see all the various LV bags everyday anymore. With the amount of patrons toting LVs (even some preteens, with their LVs, which are mini versions of their moms') it seems like LV bags are a pre-requisite if u wanna makan in chinoz. okay this is probably gonna sound blasphemous to those fashionistas out there but i think those tan colour LVs are just plain auntie-ish.
More blasphemy: The Birkin bag is over-rated!!! There was this auntie who came in with her Birkin, to the excited squeals of her frens. "Oh you got a Birkin" they said, trying to sound nonchalant, but the excitement in their voices almost spilling out. Anyways, cuz it is SUCH an important bag, it gets to 'sit' on its own chair. Once, i was trying to go near her to pour some water for her (in the process, coming to close proximity with her Birkin). She was like 'Why are you trying to go there?' and tried to shoo me away. And whenever i pour water for them in the vicinity of her B she will shield her baby with her hand. Such over-protectiveness! puh-leeze! It's just a bag! Me thinks Birkins should come with a warning label.
Awas! Owners will get an inflated sense of self importance.
Anyways there are some happy things that happen today. First, i found out that employees get 30% discount, which made me bought some uber cute cupcakes. Second i went to the Korean Fair in Isetan. The chocolates are really good! buying more soon! Third, free hibiscus + camomile tea this morning, thanks to overly rich customers who order stuffs but never touch 'em.
