college drop out?!?!?

Dear Bloggie,

don't really know why but i decided to stop going to college today. Well, to be honest the idea of quitting have been swimming round my head for quite some time... but i thought i could hang on for a lil while longer or maybe even complete the whole course. but...

one of the possible reasons would be... I HAVE NO CAR! to go to coll every morning, if my mom is running late then i have to take the taxi. everyday take taxi until i'm so sien!!! *bluek* because of all the money used up for taxi rides, i have to kiss bye bye to a LeSportSac or 2 baby Furbies or a few nice tops or a few hundred candy bars. säm tÖng ar... *ouch!* and sometimes go home have to take bus... make me feel like i'm still a lil kid.

altho i can say i find science very fascinating, sometimes i don't feel like studying it so in depth.

Like, i always thought that thunder and lightning happen because somebody's wasting food. The source of my misinformed notion stems from a particular chapter in our Chinese Textbook in primary school. My impressionable young mind believed the old folk story that high up in the heavens there's a couple, 雷公电母 a.k.a. thunder man and lightning woman (sounds sexy but based on the illustrations on the textbook... they don't look really appealing to me). anyways... Whenever some wasteful humans throw away perfectly good food, thunderMan will knock his big hammers together and lightning woman will make lightning (i forgot how.. i think she use a mirror to reflect light or something.) That is how thunder and lightning is formed, or so i thought... and furthermore i never waste food lest i incur the wrath of 雷公电母。

but thanks to physic... of cuz i now know that lightning is just an atmospheric discharge of energy and the electrons running here n there or watever... and thunder is produced by some sonic shockwaves (kinda interesting de..). but. anyways. my point is... all these knowledge suss out the magic of these nonsensical but fun stories. oh... and erm... thanks to Enid Blyton... i used to think that waves are actually the white manes of regal horses belonging to the Sea King galloping underwater. wee... i'm so matured. swt.

so the conclusion is... i'm a... *gasp!* college dropout!!! hehehe although it's kinda embarrassing now, maybe in a decade or so my kids will think i'm a very cool mom when i tell them about this. swt x2.
