my friday

after chem i decided to go to klcc. lined up for the anya hindmarch bag. the line was soooo looooong.... ~.~ madness. (estimated 2000 peeps)

the line was all d way from anya's front door all the way to the other end of the mall (salabianca n l'occitane) and earlier it was all the way to the other floors.

anyways din get it cuz it was sold out. the pple who were lining up since 6 or 7 a.m. were furious. everyone was mad and shouting and crazy. i would too if i wasted 6 hours of my time lining up for a bag only to have it sold out. klcc's big boss had to come handle the situation to no avail. pple were mad at anya's management.

nobody seem to heed the sign. nobody (including me) seemed to realise the futility of our long wait.

almost infront of anya. everybody quite miffed and upset.

altho i din get d bag, i got a notebook so it wasn't that bad ^-^ and i only lined up for 2 hours plus.

met polly when me n lyn were lining up for movie tix. ^-^ she was also there cuz of d bag. and she lined up since 8!!!

good customer service seems to be as common as dinosaurs nowadays. i whipped out my student card and requested for student price when i bought my tix but the girl at the counter said No, we don't have student price. I asked y?

because u're watching a new movie.

like Hello?!?! pirates have been showing for like wat? 1 month plus! and it's nearing the end of its run. In fact, i think its d last or 2nd last day its showing. GSC already ended its run. ugh. when i pointed this out to her she mumbled incoherently. watever. too tired to argue with her. and tgv student price is 8 bucks. not much diff lah. so i just paid up and left.

decided to makan at chinoz. delicious! and we got 30% staff discount (altho we're no longer staff, thanks to mr. chong!) and a free avocado dragon maki (omg! oishii ne~ thanks to chef pang) *licks lips* i had hibiscus + rose tea and pan seared scallop salad. lyn had her self-centered soft-centered torte that she had always wanted to eat, but sold out when we last came.

okay i expected the scallops to be hot, as in cooked. but it was not. cuz usually when i eat scallops its like cooked rite? but there's a first for everything. and it's not too bad either. d silky (raw) scallop just seem to melt in my mouth.

the great avocado dragon maki!!! oishii desu ne~ thumbs up!

oops. in awhile it's already 1.20~! rushed to d cinema. said bye bye to polly.


the movie is great. sigh... i'm in love with jack sparrow *drools*


but the sound system is seriously faulty. don't they do mantainance? it is SO bad it marred my enjoyment of the movie. something wrong with the surround sound system and the soundtrack constantly went off key. plus we were a wee bit late and missed like about 5 mins of d movie and i wuz kinda unhappy bout this and blur too cuz i dunno wats happening.





after movie chilled at AnW for a while. had waffle n lyn had root beer too. i cant reli taste anything cuz my flu's real bad. dropped by kl convention centre.





anyways ai lyn n me were totally worn out after d whole day. finally could go home n rest. the end.
