HSBC STRINGS FESTIVAL
The journey to KLPAC sure was tedious. The Sentul taxi drivers are a bunch of blur dudes... No one knows where's KLPAC and they think it's at KLCC. -.- i was running late and my cabbie brought me round and round the whole Sentul, stopping along the way to ask like a kazillion people (who says guys dun like asking for directions?). Luckily we finally found the elusive (ulu) KLPAC... but by the time i arrived i was so frustrated and pissed off. Thank goodness for a stall selling music-themed stuffs, like crotchet-shaped pendants, treble clef tie clip and many many more cute stuffs ^-^ faced with the prospect of buying them my anger evaporated. anyways they have a permanent kiosk in MidValley. The performance is great! Its like a musical journey around the world. My personal favourite is the Oriental songs but I thought the Sinfonietta played the Americas songs best... the music was so smooth and syrupy it made me imagine toffee and honey and maple syrup. *hungry!* hehe most memorable song's probably Bizet's Carmen. It was also during the Americas songs that Eu Weng started to blow the whistle... which made it kinda 'memorable' ^.^ i thoroughly enjoyed the whole performance. by the way, i bought a guitar-shaped HP accessory and a charm bracelet with musical charms. ^-^

this lizard came in my house so we put it in ball-ball's (our terrapin which ran away recently) box... we did (very briefly) considered to keep the lizard as a pet but common sense prevailed and we gave it back its freedom soon, but not before snapping a few photos ^^
